John Sarkisian

John Sarkisian is the Founding Investor and Chairman of the Board of BrightScope. John is the Chief Executive Officer of Pro Performance Sports, LLC. The company is the industry leader in delivering innovative athletic training products, instructional content and programming to athletes worldwide under the brand name SKLZ. John formerly lead Pat and Oscar's restaurants as well as Semtek Innovative Solutions, a company providing credit card security technologies. John received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Michigan.

Jim Caccavo

Jim Caccavo is the Founder and Managing General Partner of Steelpoint Capital Partners. Jim is a proven entrepreneur with deep operating and financial experience. Prior to forming Steelpoint, Jim was the Managing Director of Moore Capital Management's Private Equity Group. Before joining Moore in 1999, he was president and CEO of Tickets.com. From 1988 to 1996, Jim was a founder and senior executive of Sullivan Communications, helping to build it into a leading graphic arts company. He operated several business units for Sullivan, including: software packaging and distribution; digital imaging; and a special effects business he founded. Jim began his career in finance at Merrill Lynch and GTE Corporation. Jim holds a B.S. in Economics and Finance from the University of Scranton.

Oscar Ancira

Oscar Ancira is an independent director at BrightScope. Oscar spent much of his career at Delimex. In 1992, he was named President of Delimex and oversaw the company's growth in sales from $22M to $85M until it was sold in 1997 to a private equity firm. Since his retirement in 2001, Oscar has been active on a number of non-profit boards including the YMCA of San Diego County. Oscar received a Bachelor's degree from Monterrey Tech and an MBA from National University.

Tim Tokarsky

Tim Tokarsky earned his BSc in Geophysics from McGill University. Tim worked in IT at Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and other Wall St. firms. In early 1997 Tim joined the Micromuse executive team as VP, Application Development. He also served as Senior VP, Business Development responsible for the company's product market strategy, marketing, partnerships and acquisition activity. As part of the Micromuse executive team Tim helped oversee a successful IPO and a rise in annual software revenues from less than $2 million to over $212 million. Tim co-founded WysDM Software in 2002 and served as COO. WysDM was acquired by EMC Corporation in 2008. Tim has served on multiple company boards and is a fellow of the McGill University Dobson Center for Entrepreneurial Studies.
