The BrightScope blog is alive and kicking! We are excited to start the conversation with our friends, colleagues and clients.  At BrightScope conversations are all about listening.  So, send us your thoughts, your ideas, the things you dislike, the things we need to improve — we are are all ears!

So who are we you ask? BrightScope is a small team of engineers and finance experts.  For over a year we have worked diligently in our La Jolla office dredging up all of the information we could find on 401k plans. We have organized and analyzed that data on a plan by plan level, and are in the final stages of preparing to show the world what we have found.  We think the 401k market needs more transparency and we hope to provide the platform.

We are humbled by the level of interest we have received and by the number of people who have jumped in to help without request for compensation or recognition.
