401k Gps is a leading investment advisory firm located in Brighton, USA. I want to know that why people use to say that it is the best investment advisory firm. How much they charge for the service?
Smith,
401(k) GPS is basically strategic asset allocation service combined with a market timing service.
Essentially - they help you select which investments options are the best (in their opinion) - and then give you buy and sell alerts for your account based upon what they believe the market is going to do.
Their charge for this service appears to cost as low $199 per year if you choose their annual membership.
I go not know if, from a scientific or technical perspective, their service actually enhances or improves your chance of being a successful investor with your 401(k), or if it does not. However - I would surmise that the greatest value might be the confidence that someone would enjoy from actually feeling that they had some sort of a "plan" for their 401(k). Investors who feel that they have a plan for the unexpected, and are in control of their finances, tend to to better than those who do not - whatever the performance of the account actually is.

Smith what are you looking for in regards to 401k advice?
My opinion is if someone knows what the best investments are GOING to be, why aren’t they rich themselves. Especially if they can combine that with market timing. We can all think of some of the greatest actors, athletes, singers and even a few money managers over the last twenty years. But can anyone name the greatest market timers over that period? I doubt it because no one has ever consistently timed the market. Even if they could, Smith, don't you think it would cost more than $199 per year?
