I was an employee of UTA (Automotive div of UTC) until 1999. I received a total distribution check from my UTC Savings Plan for the amount of $1,524.14 on 12-29-2010, but failed to cash the check within the 180 day limit.?

Do you think I can arrange to have the check re-issued? I still have the original issued by Fidelity, and could send a pdf copy as verification if requested. If you reply back, I can provide my account & check number via email. Thanks, Dennis O'Meara Mietzuks@yahoo.com

Dennis,

I would recommend to never give out account numbers via email. Email tends to be a lot less secure then we make it out to be. I don't think anyone can assist you directly with this item on this website. I would contact Fidelity directly and see if they can re-issue the check. 800-835-5097 is Fidelity Customer Service for retirement plans. They should be able to look you up by acct # or social. Best of luck.
