Hello, I am shocked but maybe it is just me. In reviewing a prospects current holdings I noticed this 60 yr old prospect's IRA allocation consisted of over 500K of C share mutual funds. Her current BD firm is a major wire house. How did or does their compliance dept not have a big problem with this? I feel it is almost criminal to have C shares in a retirement, excluding retirement accounts that have a 3 year time horizon.
So, I start doing research expecting to find boat-loads of articles talking about how it is, at a bare minimum unsuitable for C shares to be used in "long-term" retirement accounts. But low and behold I cannot find one. It must just be me.
