I want to withdraw the money in my account?

I haven't worked there since 2007 I got my benefit info in the mail saw there wasv$243 in the account and I would like to withdraw it

There should be contact information on the statement you received. Contact the company there.

Simply call the 800# and instruct them you'd like to take a distribution from the account. You may be subject to fees/tax withholding depending on the account type and provider etc

You should be able to call the number on your quarterly statement and request a distribution. They should explain fees that you may be assessed by withdrawing the money.

You do not mention the kind of account that has $243 in it. Probably not a 401k as those are usually closed if there is less than $5,000 in the account. I agree with the previous answers suggesting you call the phone # on the statement and state that you wish the money be sent to you. You should ask if the distribution will be a taxable event.
