You didn’t indicate what state you live in or what type of unclaimed money you are looking for. The state controller's office sends out unclaimed property notices annually. Often those notices don’t reach the property owner. To find out if any of this property belongs to you, visit the California state controller’s website at sco.ca.gov. As the other advisor pointed out, another site you may search is www.missingmoney.com to locate funds in any state.
