How do I compare credit cards?

I get a variety of offers for credit cards, but I'm not sure what to make of the various interest rates and cash back/benefits offers. How do I know which one is best for me?

I strongly recommend debit cards instead of credit cards for everyday spending. it only makes sense to spend money you have - not to borrow and fall into the trap of "buy now, pay later". if you do need a credit card for travel (debit cards work here as well but might be cimbersome) I recommend an American Express card that you pay in full each month.
