Are 401K fees generally higher than IRA fees even the the underlying mutual fund is the same?
It depends, but it can definitely be the case where 401k costs are higher than IRA costs. Every plan is different. so it's important to see what your 401k plan offers. What kind of admin fees are reasonable when only 3 people participate in the 401K plan?
How many people work for the company? It might be more affordable to do something like a SIMPLE IRA. I'm not sure about other firms, but with us there is only an account fee of $50 per IRA. A 401(k) can sometimes be too expensive sive if only a few people are participating. ...  (more)

100% vested in my profit sharing plan. I asked about getting it and they said we cannot get it until 59?

How do I find out who holds my 401k balance.
I would call Bank of America Merrill Lynch. I believe they are the 401k plan administrator for Chicago Bridge & Iron.
