    How do I cash out?
This is a difficult question to answer without knowing the type of account you're referring to and/or the type of investment plan within which it currently resides. The best advice I can give is to call the custodian (that's the investment company holding the account). They will be able to offer a...  (more)

My father died 2 years ago. No will , nothing in writing. He had 2 small pensions coming in that were auto deposited.
First, I'm very sorry to hear about your situation. Unfortunately, trying to chase down assets of a person who passes away without any records is not all that uncommon. If I am understanding your question accurately, it sounds like whoever manages the pension does not know your father passed away...  (more)

How do I withdraw my 401k and close the account?
The most efficient method would be to call the investment company offering the plan, their contact information is probably on your statements. If you don't have a statement, contact your employer, they should be able to point you in the right direction. Just a few points to consider, if you have ...  (more)

I am currently setting up a new account through Fidelity. How can I transfer this account into my new account?
The bigger questions are, "What type of account are you setting up, and what type of account(s) are you trying to move into it?" For example, if you are setting up a 401k with a new employer and you want to move assets from a regular, non-qualified brokerage account into the 401k, well ... you can'...  (more)

I have a 401k and investment. I would like to borrow some of the money to pay one of my medical bill if it is possible?
Fortunately, for most 401k plans, loan provisions are allowed through the plan document. Contact your HR representative (or the owner if your work for a smaller company) and ask them for the number of the 401k provider. A representative from the provider should be able to access your company's pla...  (more)

Has anyone ever been to a client's home and had a horrible or dangerous experience?
I once went to a client's house and was asked to watch a family history video he was compiling as a slide show set to music. When I went into his home office, I saw every kind of hard drive wiping software you could imagine stacked up on his desk, dozens of bottles full of urine and cigarette butts...  (more)

How do i check my 401k account?
Your employer will (or should) have the contact information for the company handling your 401k account. Once you get in touch with the plan provider, they will be able to describe the process of gaining online access to their investor portal; assuming there is one. If you are not getting statements...  (more)

Have a annuity don't want to wait for once a year. How can I cash it out without losing half of the money?
You should also contact the company that issued the annuity (assuming your agent is not being helpful in this regard). Many annuity contracts have distribution options that aren't conspicuously outlined in the marketing material and/or contract. ...  (more)

If you don't have a plan, but want to do itself - would it be wise to follow the top 10 to 20 stocks in a blue chip fund?
Going the DIY route can be very tempting, especially when the market has been on a historically long upward trajectory. But, as they say, "A rising tide lifts all boats. It's when the tide goes out that you discover who is swimming naked." In other words, the mettle of an investor is not evidence...  (more)

Do i have a early retirement?
If you are under age 40, and retired, yes, most people would consider that an early retirement. Hope this helps!...  (more)
