    If I can afford to supplement the monthly mortgage payment, where should the extra money go: on the PRINCIPAL? Or on the INTEREST section?

    Are there advantages or disadvantages to using two incomes versus one when repaying a student loan using an income based repayment plan that may ultimately be forgiven before it is paid in full?
    David,When you say two incomes I would assume you mean your wife's income as well as yours. If the Loan is going to be forgiven you will probably want to use just one to keep the payment lower.
